Architect certified (Architecture school Paris-La villette), I started my own studio in october 2004. I work as well for public and private clients. I realise different type of projects from design to building construction.

Previously I used to be manager for international architecture agencies specially Naço and Architecture-Studio.

The sensibility and the articulation forms/materials/colours are the singularity of my architecture. Thechnicity and formal research feed the aesthetic. My projects which are more and more sensitive, vibrate in close relationship with my musical world. It deals for me with offering someone sensorial experiences to go with everyday's life.

For each new project I focus on establishing a coherent formal vocabulary. The main figure as a real leitmotiv is present in the entire project. This line which runs in the whole project creates a tension. It is present as well in my logo. For each new design, I like to work from the global geometry until the smallest details.

Architecture attracted me for the possibility of working from domestic living scale to the city one. Architectural quality has to be present anywhere an for anyone. People deserve it in public as private ground and over social conditions.

Olivier Palatre Agency works on different kind of project, on public and private ones as well as big and small:

- hospital

I am attached to develop various references. This is why I want to pursue my experience with others project type (crèches, cultural centres, others ...) Being polyvalent increases savoir-faire and helps to develop an architectural vocabulary.

The agency set up for each project a rigorous, qualified and polyvalent team. This team is composed with different collaborators (economist, general and specialised engineering firms, landscape architect, urbanist, lighting engineer, acoustic engineer, graphic designer, ...)
